About McPherson

McPherson STEAM Magnet School provides a specialized program for students to explore and experience learning through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) opportunities integrated with visual and performing arts.  Students develop skills and confidence as they apply their learning to projects and original work using creativity and artful thinking.  McPherson is also a Community School where parents are welcome and encouraged to join in conversations and experiences so that the whole family takes part in the learning.  We encourage parents to volunteer and help guide the direction of our program.  McPherson offers a Family Resource Center located onsite that provides resources, classes, and volunteer opportunities.  We welcome new families to join us on the exciting journey of our McPherson Monarchs: Where Learning Takes Flight!
